It is a hands-on treatment that addresses pain or pathology coming from your muscles, joints and/or nerves.Chiropractors use the best available evidence and clinical expertise to diagnose issues that affect your body’s movement. They treat them without medication or surgery and prevent them from returning. Chiropractic care can also promote health and improve your quality of life, as well as alleviate pain.

The most common chiropractic treatment is the chiropractic adjustment.  It is a high velocity, low-amplitude thrust applied to joints that are restricted in motion.  This technique is used to increase/restore range of motion at the joint.  Chiropractors are most well-known for applying this to the spine.

What is Chiropractic Care

What makes our chiropractic different?

The chiropractic adjustment is only one of our tools.  We utilize a treatment plan that will get you better, faster.  That may also include soft tissue massage and modalities, like: ultrasound, IFC, microcurrent or low level laser therapy, in addition to home exercises for rehabilitation.

What do chiropractors treat?

The chiropractic doctors at AHA treat essentially everything that could involves muscles, joints, bones and nerves, for example:

  • sprains and strains

  • headaches

  • injuries to shoulders, wrists, hips, knees and ankles

  • tendinopathies like rotator cuff and tennis elbow

  • common growth conditions like: Osgood-Schlatter and Sever's disease

  • disc herniations and other nerve conditions like: non-surgical carpal tunnel, pronator syndrome, piriformis syndrome

  • scar tissue reduction
