Chiropractor

Concussion Management Specialist

Registered Massage Therapist

Dr. Laura has called Cambridge home since she was 12 years old, so when she graduated from Chiropractic College, she was delighted to open the doors of her clinic here.

Dr. Laura grew up surrounded by sports, having trained in gymnastics for many years before trading her grips in for a ball glove! As an avid sports fan and former elite athlete, Dr. Laura understands the need to return to activity and the frustrations that can come from being disabled from sport or work. Dr. Laura spent many hours over the past years on the sidelines of Cambridge’s Varsity Lions Football team and Cambridge’s Girl’s Youth Soccer, as well as treating the skaters of Champions Training Center and the players of Cambridge Hawks, Kitchener Dutchmen and the two-time Ontario Champion Schmalz Cup winners the Ayr Centennials hockey team. Dr. Ostofe has seen, diagnosed and treated hundreds of sport related injuries. With genuine compassion and desire to improve her patient’s conditions, she works diligently to achieve relief from pain and return to daily activity, whatever that may be.

Dr. Laura graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College with clinical honours. She has been a quality committee member at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital for several years and is an assistant training office for the Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board. Dr. Laura has received the honour of being awarded the Cambridge Time's Reader's Choice Top Chiropractor for 14 years; but, her greatest accomplishment is the title of Mom.  Dr. Laura and her husband live in the Region with their three beautiful and very active kids and love being a part of this community.

Registered Massage Therapist

Dr. Karalyn is a native of the Niagara region where she grew up playing many competitive sports including synchronized figure skating, soccer and rowing. After winning multiple Canadian and American championships in the sport of rowing, Dr. Karalyn received a full scholarship to the University of Miami, FL where she completed her undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology and Sports Medicine in 2010 as a Division 1 NCAA rower.

In 2010, Dr. Karalyn underwent surgery of her hip after injury took it's toll. It was during this experience that her passion for helping others stay their best ignited and in 2014, Dr. Karalyn received her Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto.

During her schooling, Dr. Karalyn was able to find another passion working with the special needs community. She was able to take knowledge of this community and combine it with her chiropractic education to provide personal treatment plans for those patients. It continues to be a passion that she applies to her career at Active Health Associates.
